1. GUIDLINES FOR RETURNS

In order to commence the return process, we kindly request that you provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase. This documentation is essential to verify the transaction and initiate the necessary procedures for a smooth return experience.

1.3 TIMEFRAME FOR REQUESTING RETURN:

Our 30-day return policy ensures that you have a generous timeframe to request exchanges or refunds, extending up to 30 days from the date of receiving your order. This provides ample time for you to thoroughly assess your purchase and decide on the most suitable course of action, whether it be an exchange or a refund.

1.4 INITIATION PROCESS: 

Contact us via email at support@unchartedborders.com, attaching images of the damaged product or providing a detailed explanation for the exchange.

1.5 CANCELLATION NOTE: 

Once an order has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, we regret to inform you that cancellations are no longer possible. This is due to the fact that the delivery status signifies the completion of the shipping process, making it logistically challenging to intercept or modify the shipment. We recommend promptly reviewing your order details upon delivery to ensure accuracy and, in the event of any concerns or issues, referring to our return and refund policy for the appropriate course of action. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated, and we are here to assist you with any further inquiries or requests.

1.6 ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN/EXCHANGE

Only in the event of receiving a damaged product or encountering issues with your purchase are you eligible for an exchange or refund. Please note that returns are exclusively accepted for damaged items or those with identified issues. Our commitment to quality extends to every product we offer, ensuring that your experience with Uncharted Borders exceeds your expectations. 

1.7 DOOR PICKUP:

At this time, Uncharted Borders does not provide door pickup services. We understand the convenience that such services can offer, but due to our current operational structure, we are unable to facilitate pickups directly from your location.

1.8 RETURN SHIPPING COSTS AND RESTOCKING FEE:

We kindly request that customers bear the responsibility for the return shipping costs. This ensures a fair and transparent process while allowing us to continue offering quality products and services. Additionally, please be aware that in certain cases, a restocking fee may be applied. This fee helps cover the costs associated with processing returned items, including inspection, restocking, and associated administrative tasks. 

1.9 CONDITIONS WHERE RETURN IS NOT APPLICABLE:

Returns will not be accepted for items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Proper evidence of purchase must be provided.

2. REFUND PROCESS:

To request a refund, send an email to support@unchartedborders.com, including images of the damaged product or a detailed explanation. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 15 business days.

2.1 REFUND METHOD:

Refunds will automatically be credited to the original method of payment or credit card used for the purchase, streamlining the process for your convenience.

3. EUROPEAN UNION 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
